🏡 Dog Trot Lodging — A Modern Twist on a Southern Classic

Our newest lodging option at Dry Creek Baptist Camp offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. These buildings were thoughtfully built to replace our beloved White House, which we lost to a fire in 2021. Inspired by the classic Louisiana “dog trot” design, these cabins are thoughtfully built for connection and rest — perfect for families, small groups, or ministry leaders looking for a quiet getaway.

We currently have two Dog Trot buildings, each offering the same comfortable layout and beautiful lake views.

🌲 Features & Amenities

Each Dog Trot building includes five guest rooms, comfortably sleeping up to 32 guests. Two of the rooms feature lofts and are furnished with a queen bed, twin-over-full bunk, full-size futon, and a twin-over-twin bunk. The remaining three rooms each include a queen bed with a twin-over-full bunk.

Every room has its own private bathroom, and all five rooms connect to a central meeting space featuring a Smart TV, coffee bar, and flexible seating arrangements.
